Donated CD and DVD discs, 2x4s, Monofilament, Cable ties, Ratchet tie down straps, Bungee cords, Irrigation tubing, Eye bolts and eye screws, Sheet metal and wood screws, Fender washers, Threaded metal rods and bolts.

Inspired by diagrams of black holes and wormholes in space, this pair of CD sculptures are suspended inside cubes. Built of 2x4's, the cubes shrink in dimension creating a forced perspective emphasizing the collapsing space between the wormholes.
Tesseracts was designed for the Biennial 27 exhibition at the South Bend Museum of Art., South Bend, Indiana, July 6 - October 6, 2013. The juror for Biennial 27 was Lisa D. Freiman, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art, Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Based on my installation of Tesseracts at the Biennial 27, the Curatorial Committee of the South Bend Museum of Art selected a to have a new, site-specific CD installation commissioned as the purchase award for the 2013 biennial. This new sculpture will be installed fall 2014.
